About this service
Specialist adult ADHD assessment.
Structured adult ADHD assessment for people in Adelaide and across South Australia — by secure video on Adelaide time. SetMind psychiatrists work from your GP referral, validated screeners and a full diagnostic interview, then send a written formulation back to your GP. SA has a small private psychiatry workforce and long in-person waitlists; telehealth typically books you in within 1–3 weeks.
Appointments run on ACST / ACDT and are scheduled to suit working Adelaide adults. You'll be seen by an AHPRA-registered psychiatrist; the written assessment goes back to your referring GP so care stays joined-up across South Australia.
South Australia's Drugs of Dependence Unit oversees stimulant prescribing for adult ADHD: specialist psychiatrists initiate treatment and the GP can continue prescribing once treatment is stable. We see patients across Adelaide metro — the CBD, Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern Suburbs, and the Hills — plus regional SA. Appointments run on ACST / ACDT; the 30-minute offset to the eastern states is handled automatically in your confirmation.
