About this service

Specialist GP shared-care psychiatry plan.

Structured handover back to your Darwin GP after specialist stabilisation — by secure video, on ACST (no DST). SetMind provides a clear shared-care plan, prescribing handover and review schedule so ongoing care stays with your usual GP in Northern Territory.

Appointments run on ACST (no DST) and are scheduled to suit working Darwin adults. You'll be seen by an AHPRA-registered psychiatrist; the written assessment goes back to your referring GP so care stays joined-up across Northern Territory.

How it works

From GP referral to written plan.

  1. Step 01

    Get a GP referral

Any AHPRA-registered Australian GP can refer you. Your Darwin GP referral is nationally valid.

  2. Step 02

    Pre-assessment screening

We send validated screeners and a brief history form before the appointment, so the session is focused.

  3. Step 03

    Specialist video assessment

Specialist video appointment on ACST (no DST), with an AHPRA-registered psychiatrist.

  4. Step 04

Plan sent to you and your GP

Written assessment and treatment plan, with shared-care handover so prescribing can stay local.
